Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila smoothening education in surulere and Lagos State, with provision of a modernised ICT laboratories

Dreams Media and Citizens Media in their usual ways of always getting identified with good governance, did collaborative report on the progress of development in Surulere, and education was picked as the point of focus. To this end, it is not a gainsaying that no nation can grow or develop above her educational system, thereby making it paramount for each nation who's aim is to grow and develop to cherish education.

Without mincing words, education is the bedrock of any civilisation, and it is on record that the World Health Organization (WHO) while commenting on the impact of the pandemic after countries ended their lockdowns noted that it is time for World leaders and policy makers to see COVID-19 as our new reality which requires creative ideas to ensure that activities go back to normal while reducing the risk of the citizens contracting the pandemic.

But the distinct and respected Speaker of the Federal Republic Nigeria, did not only make policies that have a better and positive direct impact on the common man on the street, but also provided an accessible Education to his constituents, by building a standardised and equipped ICT laboratories for Schools in Surulere and Tertiary Institution in Lagos State. It is said that government serve the purpose of making life of his subject worthy of living, by ensuring means of surviving is provided and affordable

Today, the role of Education, fine-tuned by Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, in facilitating social and economic progress is now been recognized and becoming reality. One would wonder if Nigeria can have many Gbajabiamila's, then development would be our Greenville, purified by abundance representatives, and cloned by achievers, where poverty would have been melted by transformation.

The global world have changed, and Information Communication Technology (ICT) improves functional and analytical ability and thereby opens up all various opportunities for individuals and also groups to achieve greater access to labour market and livelihood. A better educated labour force is essential if we are to meet the labour supply requirements for faster growth.

ICT is not only an instrument of enhancing efficiency and efficacy of ideas, but it is also a potent tool of widening and augmenting democratic participation and upgrading the overall quality of individual and societal life.

Appreciating Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila is an understatement, with an incomplete disclosure, that intentionally withholds relevant information. Because, this day have birthed the beginning of positive turn around for Surulere and beyond, as the ideas-driven of Mr Speaker is needed in 2023 political dispensation, to continue the megacity Lagos State is always known for.
