BS-E4 2021 Business and Leadership Bootcamp Registration opens

Registration for the annual BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp for 2021 is now open.

The programme, an initiative of Rep. Bamidele Salam is targeted at raising business owners in Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun state.

It will hold on Thursday, 14th January, 2021 at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) permanent orientation camp, Ede, Osun State.

Registration for the event will run from Wednesday, 30th December, 2020 -Saturday, 2nd January, 2021 and is open for only indigenes and residents of Ede north, Ede south, Egbedore and Ejigbo local governments of Osun state.

Applicants are to further note that registration closes on midnight of Saturday, 2nd January, 2021 and selection will be done strictly on first come, first served basis.

Every 25th of December a town in Peru celebrate a traditional of fighting called "Takanakuy"

Takanakuy ( "to hit each other") is an annual established practice of fighting fellow community members held on 25 December, by the inhabitants of Chumbivilcas Province , near Cuzco in Peru . The practice started in Santo Tomás, the capital of Chumbivilcas, and has now spread to other villages and cities, the prominent ones being Cuzco and Lima . BREAKING: FG Orders NDLEA to Stop Recruitment Exercise

The Federal Government through the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has directed the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to put screening of 5,000 new recruits on hold. The ordered was contained in a statement Friday night by Dayo Apata, Solicitor General of the Federation. Apata is also the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice. NDLEA had asked the candidates to go to the agency’s academy, Citadel Counter-Narcotics Nigeria, (CCNN) at Katton-Rikkos, Jos, Plateau State. They are to appear for the screening and documentation exercise between January 10 and 23, 2021. But Malami said though the exercise is long overdue and necessary for the actualization of the NDLEA mandate, “the timing is ill-advised and inappropriate.” The AGF cited the current and alarming wave of COVID-19 pandemic across the country.
