Osun 2022: Group Sets to Empower Osun Citizen Ahead of Guber Election



 A group within People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Osun state, ‘Vote Adeleke 2022’ have concluded plan to empower the citizens ahead of the 2022 governorship election in the state.


The socio- political group, at the end of their executive meeting held last Saturday said, the empowerment forms have been distributed to all the 30 local governments of the state including Ife area office, which are expected back for quick take off of the empowerment.


Speaking shortly after the meeting, the state coordinator of the group, Comrade Samakin Oriwo said, the motive of the group is to liberate the people of the state from the shackle of maladministration of the ruling APC.


Samakin noted that, the group set to empower the citizens especially those with petty trading in order to enhance positively, their condition of living.


He said, the group was established to sensitised the electorates on the need to vote for the right and peoples friendly governor come 2022 gubernatorial election in the state, saying the work has gone so far in educating the electorate on the need to vote for their liberty.


He however urged those that have obtained the empowerment form to hurried up for their submission so as to kick start the program in earnest.

BREAKING: FG Orders NDLEA to Stop Recruitment Exercise

The Federal Government through the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has directed the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to put screening of 5,000 new recruits on hold. The ordered was contained in a statement Friday night by Dayo Apata, Solicitor General of the Federation. Apata is also the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice. NDLEA had asked the candidates to go to the agency’s academy, Citadel Counter-Narcotics Nigeria, (CCNN) at Katton-Rikkos, Jos, Plateau State. They are to appear for the screening and documentation exercise between January 10 and 23, 2021.
