The Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial district, Chief Mrs Oluremi Tinubu empowered fifty Chiefs in other to be self dependent and be able to continue having life sustainability.

Without forgetting that the Senator recently trained 100 Youths in her senatorial district on small and medium scale business on cakes and confectionery, phones repair, and electrical work, while she supported them with the sum of N100.000 for each participants to start up their business. For emphasis, this legislating character can't be compared with her contemporaries, the numbers of motions and bills that have been moved and passed is a people centered one, which is quite applaudable and worthy of democratic woman

In her statement, she described this empowerment program as a way of giving back to the society, because this is the people that surrounded me and they are the one that have been voting for me right from my first term as a senator, and they deserved to be empowered with this little. And she said more of employment opportunities are in the pipeline for the Youths, widows and widowers in her senatorial district

Chief Mrs Tinubu became the first lady of Lagos State when her husband, Bola Tinubu, was elected as governor. As first lady, she established the New Era Foundation, dedicated to establishing centres for "all round development of young ones and promote public awareness on environmental health and community service.

It's must be said that Mrs Oluremi Tinubu was one of over 100 senators elected in the 8th assembly in 2015. And Six of these were women. At the 2019 general elections, she retained her senatorial seat representing Lagos Central, making it her third tenure in office.

We cannot but to appreciate the generosity and humanitarian act of Mrs Oluremi Tinubu as her works is one of the speedboat to modern development.
